A Spousal Sponsorship application typically takes around a year to process. It is necessary to keep in mind that the procedure could take up to 36 months. In some cases, the sponsorship procedure can take less than a year.

How Can I Sponsor Other Members of My Family?

The process of Family Sponsorship is like Spousal Sponsorship. However, there are some key differences. There are extra provisions that apply if you wish to sponsor your parents or grandparents.

You may sponsor your grandparents, parents, or adopted children. Additionally, you may sponsor your sibling, niece, nephew, or grandchildren under the age of 18 who are orphaned.

  • The applicant must be 18 years or older
  • You must commit to financially supporting your loved ones
  • If you are sponsoring a child, you must provide for the child for at least 10 years, or until they turn 25.
